Private Life
John is married to actress Kate Magowan, who also appears with him in 24 Hour Party People, Devilwood, Tu£sday and Exile.
They have two children, Ryan (born 13 August 2001) and Molly (born 09 February 2007).
John likes The Beatles, Bob Dylan, Echo and the Bunnymen, The Rolling Stones, The Blur, Beck, The Beastie Boys, Happy Mondays, The Stone Roses and The Charlatans.
John is an avid Manchester United supporter and Football is John's major passion after music, but he's gutted because he can't play anymore after damaging his knee when a stuntman took John out of frame wrong in Chiller. He couldn't walk for a couple of months after the injury.
During one of London gigs 'New Order' dedicated their song 'True Faith' to John's son.
